Differentiated and timely feedback

TRANSCRIPT

Large classes with students of varying abilities make providing feedback time-consuming.

But there is a faster way to provide timely and differentiated feedback.

Because student progress is viewed in real time, teachers can intervene when their students need help.

This boosts student morale and helps keep them on task.

Head over to the Comment tool to choose the type of response that’s best for your student.

To leave a Text Comment, click anywhere on the page and start typing.

Hit the “enter” key to leave a comment or start a chat.

To create a Voice Comment, click anywhere to start recording and “stop” when finished.

The same is true for Video Comments.

You can also select Screen Capture to record your screen or a video for up to 20 minutes.

If you find yourself repeating feedback, saving your recurring comments in your Annotation Bank will save you time in the future.

To save Text, Voice, and Video Comments, just click the Annotation Bank button and click Confirm.

To access your saved Text Comments, start typing, and Kami will show you autocomplete options.

For Voice and Video Comments, name your annotations for easy access when you need them.

To save equations, shapes, drawings, questions, and added media, hover over the annotation with the Select tool, then click the button to save!

You can access all your saved annotations – just drag and drop!

To keep things organized, create folders and start adding your saved annotations.

You can always edit, rearrange, and delete what you’ve saved using these controls.
