Getting students into Kami

It’s time to guide your students through creating their Kami accounts.

If you’ve got a school or district plan, this step is often managed by your technology department. Skip this step or stay tuned to learn more about how student sign-up works for individual and multi-teacher plans.

All students need to do is sign up for Kami, follow the prompt, and be sure to select ‘student’ on their profile.

If you’re on a single Teacher Plan or trial, adding students to your license is important. It allows you to create, share, and manage individual or collaborative work with them.

Head to your profile and select the license dashboard from the dropdown menu. From here, find the license you want your students to join and select ‘Administer License.’

Simply share the license link and have your students copy and paste it into their address bar. And just like that, they’re ready to go.
