How to Share Kami Assignments

TRANSCRIPT

In Kami, you can customize any existing resource. But for this assignment, I’ve chosen a digital notebook template from the Kami Library. Now I can start adding in instructions with text, comments, and voice comments I’ve saved in my annotation bank.

Once it’s ready, go to “Share Document” and set the permission to either ‘My Domain’ or ‘Anyone with the Link.’ Then select ‘Create Individual Copy.’ You have the option to click ‘Control Features,’ where you can choose which tools and features to turn on or off for your students.

Once you’re all set, copy the unique link or QR code and drop it into an email along with your instructions. When students click on the Kami link, they’ll be taken directly to their own copy of the assignment. Now they can complete their work using the tools and features you’ve set for them.

When it’s time to submit their work, they should select “Share with Edit Permissions.” This will give the teacher editor access for feedback and grading.

To complete this step, simply open the link that your students have sent you. Personalize your feedback with multimedia comments, markups, and fun stickers to add some Kami magic.
