Desktop Support

We are on the hunt for a Desktop Support Admin to help grow and improve our IT function of Kami.  Based at our HQ in Parnell, you’ll perform a range of tasks, providing IT support to our internal teams. We will provide you with the ability to grow your existing skills and gain new knowledge in a multitude of areas. 

Your day to day
  • Install and manage computer hardware, software and any required peripherals
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up new staff as well as assist with the onboarding tasks and troubleshooting.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Testing new technology and ideas to improve Kami.
  • Document and maintain internal knowledge base and FAQ’s
  • Analyse user problems and suggest how to prevent future problems
  • Asset managment for both software and equipment.
what you’ll bring
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • A technical, logical thought process with Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and stick to strict deadlines
  • An ability to prioritise and delegate
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Understanding and helpful friendly attitude
  • A degree in Computing, Computer Science or Engineering is helpful but not required.
  • Automation scripting & MDM experience would be nice to have
  • IoT and networking knowledge is a plus but not essential.
