Sales Development Representative

Customers love our product and we need talented Sales Development Representatives to bring our vision and service for a better way of learning to sell to the millions of users trialling our free basic plan. The Sales Development Representative will make outbound calls and emails, qualify leads, and determine next steps, before passing them over to an Account Executive. Persistence, resilience, discipline and drive are a requirement for success in this role and at Kami, successful SDRs find quick advancement within the sales team.

A day in the life...

  • Interact with prospects via telephone and email
  • Research companies, identify key contacts, generate interest, and develop accounts
  • Manage prospect inquiries and overcome objections
  • Become a trusted resource for prospects
  • Employ and optimize repeatable sales technique
  • Provide feedback to sales leaders to ensure constant process improvement
  • Consistently achieve lead conversion targets

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to work in a high-intensity sales environment
  • Passion for educating customers on CRM and sales processes
  • Consultative sales approach and ability to control a conversation
  • The skills to clearly articulate product value and benefits
  • A knack for asking great questions to uncover problems with a prospect’s current environment
  • Edtech training and usage experience a plus
  • College degree
  • A self-starter with a track record of success
  • Team player
  • You’re well-versed in Edtech platforms , Google Classroom, Schoology, Canvas, etc.
