Inserting and Labelling Diagrams<\/h4>
Scientific diagrams are vital for understanding and visualizing all sorts of processes. With Kami, students can create, insert, color in, highlight, add to, label and ultimately make the best use of their scientific diagrams – all from their digital device.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/p>
Kami tools required:<\/h5>- Image<\/strong>: To insert a diagram on to your Kami sheet simply select the image tool at the bottom of your toolbar. You can then select the location of your file (choose from Google Drive, your device or a Google Image safe search), then select the desired image and it will appear on your document.<\/span><\/li>
- Text boxes<\/strong>: To label your diagram you can use the Text Box tool to type in labels. Simply click the Text Box icon and then click the location on the page where you want to type.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
- Shapes:<\/strong> You can add to your diagrams using the Shapes tool. Here you can choose from squares, circles or lines and make them whatever size, color or transparency you like. Get as creative as you want!<\/span><\/li>
- Drawing<\/b>: If the Shapes tool isn\u2019t enough you can add to your diagram freehand or color it in with the Drawing tool. You can choose the color, thickness, and transparency of your brush.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
- Markup (text highlighter)<\/b>: Finally you can highlight certain labels or explanations with the highlighter tool. Click on the Markup tool and select text Highlighter along with the appropriate color. Then simply highlight the text you wish to.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
