Brand and Content Manager

We are on the hunt for a Brand & Content Manager to help bring Kami’s colourful and creative content strategy to life. That means you’ll play a key role at the very start of projects as a fearless generator of ideas, ultimately managing content projects through to completion. From the website and emails to social content and videos, you will ensure ideas and assets are fresh, on-brand and delivering to our objectives.

Your day to day
  • Planning and managing the creation and delivery of our day-to-day content and tactical campaigns across emails, landing pages, videos, social, product marketing materials, sales collateral, blogs, and much more
    • Brainstorming and building out weekly and monthly content calendars across multiple channels, ensuring ideas are aligned to the wider content and brand strategies, as well as the needs and requirements briefed in by the digital team
    • Briefing in-house and freelance creatives (including graphic designers, video content creators and copywriters) to develop assets, and overseeing the delivery of these
    • Building the final content outputs on certain channels or platforms such as emails and the website
    • Reviewing and assessing existing content to identify gaps and ensure it is on-brand and consistent
  • Leading, supporting and managing two direct reports, helping them to learn and grow in their roles
  • Collaborating with marketing managers, product owners, and creatives to understand and assess content and project needs
  • Managing projects from start to finish, ensuring teams deliver on time and in full
  • Seeking, listening, and adapting to feedback from team members and customers alike
  • Partnering with other teams to find ways to amplify their work and recruit new customers
  • Understand the ins and outs of our brand to ensure everything we create is aligned to tone of voice, brand guidelines and our wider brand strategy
  • Researching and spending time learning about our many audiences, the customer journeys, how they talk, and ultimately how you can connect with them through content
  • Stay on top of industry and competitor brands, and content marketing trends
what you’ll bring
  • 4 years experience in a content marketing role (agency experience is preferred but not required)
  • A mix of creative ideas, strategic thinking and practical marketing skills
  • Solid understanding of creative content marketing i.e. what the best content looks and feels like on different channels
  • Understanding of brand principles and marketing, and how brand intersects with content
  • Experience leading and managing direct reports or a team would be preferred
  • Project management experience and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience with copywriting or editing would be a plus
  • Hard-working and able to work autonomously at times
