CopyWriter

We are on the hunt for a Copywriter to help bring Kami’s colorful and creative content to life. That means you’ll play a key role at the very start of our campaigns and projects as a fearless generator of ideas, ultimately bringing those ideas to life with clear and compelling copywriting. From blogs and case studies to social copy and campaigns, you will keep everything aligned to the Kami tone of voice.

Your day to day
  • Act as the guardian of Kami’s Tone of Voice across any and all comms; working with the Marketing and Creative Directors to develop it where needed
  • Craft emails, ads, event collateral, web copy, video scripts, product marketing materials, sales collateral, blog posts, eBooks, case studies, in-app dialogue, and social posts
  • Collaborate with marketing managers and the creative team to assess project needs and help craft strategic campaign messages and ideas
  • Build emails, make website updates and perform other marketing tasks you’ve had a hand in bringing to life
  • Seek, listen, and adapt to feedback from team members and customers alike
  • Proofread anything and everything that crosses your path to ensure ToV, consistency, accuracy, and readability across the business
  • Be a copywriting guru across all genres and styles, from friendly and engaging social posts right to the more technical product-related pieces
  • Research and spend time learning about our many audiences, the customer journeys, how they talk, and ultimately how you can connect with them through your writing
  • Come up with proactive ideas for content and keep on top of industry trends and themes
what you’ll bring
  • 3+ years experience in professional copywriting roles within the marketing or communications space, across a variety of communication mediums
  • Ideally, a mix of agency and client-side experience (not a deal-breaker)
  • Creativity is essential, as well as exceptional attention to detail
  • A team player. You’ll be part of an extremely collaborative and supportive team committed to your success, and we want the same from you
  • Proven conceptual experience in generating ideas and the ability to know when copy might not be the optimum way of communicating an idea
  • Hard-working and able to work autonomously at times
  • Intellectually curious and globally minded – we work with all kinds of educators and students from all over the world
  • The ability to prioritise and manage your work and effectively communicate those priorities to the many people within Kami who will want your help
  • Agile, flexible, and willing to roll up your sleeves and break out of your job description when required

Could this be you?

We’d love to hear from you!
Job will be taken down when vacancy is filled.
