What’s Top of Mind for Educators

Classroom Practice & Instruction

  • Educators at Spring CUE weren’t just asking about features; they were asking how the Kami family of products fits within UDL, Tier 1, and MTSS frameworks already adopted in their districts. Tools that align to existing practice get adopted faster.
  • Kami is being used to give feedback on digital responses at scale. The depth of these use cases speaks to how embedded Kami has become in day-to-day classroom practice.

Accessibility & Student Support

  • “Do Kami products support students with 504 and IEP accommodations?” This was one of the most repeated questions across both days. Kami’s differentiated access, text-to-speech, and annotation tools consistently landed well with special education teachers. Educators want proof, not promises, when it comes to accommodation support.
  • Translation and language support is an urgent need, particularly in districts where co-teaching specialist support is stretched thin. Real-time, in-language support is a growing priority across California classrooms.

AI & Emerging Tools

  • Educators aren’t afraid of AI; they’re looking for AI they can trust. The ‘World Premiere’ sneak peek filled the session room beyond capacity, with attendees lining the hallway to catch a glimpse.
  • A session on AI privacy drew a full room of leaders working through how to enable AI tools while protecting student data. Districts want partners who take data responsibility as seriously as they do.

Professional Learning

  • Teacher support is a district-level priority. Professional learning powers educator growth, and Kami delivers it through evidence-based practices
