The programme
Kami’s internship programme is 13 weeks dedicated to building high impact products. This opportunity is a full-time, paid opportunity between 10 November 2026 – 12 February 2027.
You’ll be embedded into our team and be applying your knowledge to build up your technical and professional skills! You’ll face exciting challenges to hone your expertise.
We’ll support you along your journey, and you’ll receive mentorship and guidance from your team. We’re excited to help you grow and learn!
Our Auckland hub
You’ll be based in our founding office in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa.
We are hybrid, with Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in our comfortable, renovated open-plan office. Tuesdays and Thursdays are at-home days. To reach our office we provide 24×7 secure car parking and AT Fareshare discounts.
The office is fully stocked to keep you fueled for great work – fresh fruit (or Tim Tams), a full fridge and bar, catered lunches, and La Marzocco coffee.
Our flexible space supports every work style – bring your dog, dive into quiet rooms for focus, or create in our filming and podcast studios. Lights, camera, action! Are you ready to apply?

Show off your knowledge and craft in a skills-based interview so we can understand your strengths.
Meet our leaders
Attend a final interview where you meet with our team leaders and see who you’ll be working alongside.

Eligibility criteria
The internship programme combines student talent, learning and collaboration, and real business priorities – creating a dynamic and rich environment for interns to grow and thrive.
To ensure we can give the right support, the internship programme requires each applicant to meet the eligibility criteria:
- Full-time working rights in New Zealand
- Availability to commit full-time between November – February
- Studying a relevant degree including Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
