How to use Book Creator collaboration

Transcript

Join the Global Pen Pals project!

The Book Creator collaboration tools: your go-to for getting two or more students working on the same book.

They let you assign a shared book, control who can edit each page, and keep students focused on their own project instead of browsing everyone else’s work.

Use them when you want partners or small groups to build one book together, like a shared All About Me journal or a class yearbook.

In this video, you’ll learn how to:
💛 Search the Discover Library for remixable templates
💛 Add students to a library before assigning a book
💛 Combine two books into one to give partners more pages
💛 Turn on collaboration for specific students only
💛 Assign editing access so students see only their own book
This approach also works well for multilingual learners, thanks to the newcomer-friendly template featured in the video, and for teachers connecting with classrooms in other schools through the Global Pen Pal Project.
